Before joining BD, Berna was the Director of Mobility for Weatherford in Houston, TX and AECOM in Los Angeles, CA. She also held Global Mobility leadership positions at Abbott Laboratories and with Novartis Pharma AG in Basel, Switzerland. Prior to that, she served in various management roles in Germany and the greater New York Metro area within relocation and expatriate management consulting and solutions providers such as PricewaterhouseCoopers serving the expatriate management needs of many multinational companies.

Dr. Amit Arwindekar is an international medical director for assistance and insurance, a clinical leader and educator practicing in Chicago, IL. His passion is developing of the next generation of clinical leaders and building the systems to make high-quality emergency care accessible to all patients. As the North American Medical Director for UnitedHealthcare Global he specializing in cross-border medical care, evacuation, medical transportation, complex case management and medical services innovations to meet the needs of global citizens . As a medical director in academic urban emergency departments, he has built systems to insure quality care, reduce waiting times, increase capacity and build collaboration across specialties by implementing transparency of information, clear communication and empowering frontline staff. He serves an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of IL College of Medicine. Mauricio is currently the Global Mobility Manager at Becton, Dickinson, and Company based in San Diego, CA. He joined the company in 2015 and participated in the M&A and Global Mobility harmonization of CareFusion and CR Bard, which entailed the consolidation of three legacy Global Mobility programs, policies and vendors into one program. Prior to BD, Mauricio was the GM Partner with Smurfit Kappa, an international leader in the corrugate industry from 2009-2014. An alumni of Boston University (BA Intl Relations) and Colegio de la Frontera Norte, Mexico (MA Development Studies) Mauricio also has Graduate Certificates from University of Cincinnati (Gender Studies) and Cornell University (HR Leadership). Additionally, Mauricio has worked overseas in Japan as an English teacher and in Spain at the Spanish Commission for Development CODESPA.


Anne has spent the last several years assisting clients in implementing business travel programs focusing not only on tracking employee travel, but also the end-to-end processes and how they fit into the client’s organization. Before this, starting her KPMG career in Dublin, she has also worked in London and New York with some of KPMG’s largest Global Mobility Services clients. Anne enjoys international travel but now calls New York home with, Ireland a very close second of course.

Additionally, Karen has a wealth of corporate experience establishing and transitioning global mobility functions for several Fortune 500 organizations. Acting in the Financial Industry for over 15 years, being the last three years as an expat herself, in 2016 she moved to the Consumer Goods Business and is now the Global Mobility Head for the Americas based in São Paulo. Patricia is a valued member of the GADEX Group in Brazil, which is composed of 33 multinationals, and represents the GM community with government entities, (Federal Police, Immigration Department, DMV, etc) when necessary. Prior to joining ADP in 2017, she was Director, HR Operations at News Corp and previously at Immedis (formerly Expaticore) and BGRS (formerly Prudential Relocation). She is a Board Director for the Haven Adolescent Community Respite Center and Chair of the NYC SHRM Global HR Special Interest Group. Becky earned her B.A. from Amherst College, her M.B.A. from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and has lived and worked in multiple countries.
